Pool Play Schedules

The Official Pool Play schedules have been posted to the website as of October 21, 2008 at 10:50PM. The can be accessed in the normal way through the Game Schedules page.

There were some test schedules posted before that time which were not official and were *not* correct. Please get the corrected schedules now.

The Boys and Girls U-10 Pool Play schedule has been added to the normal game schedules.

There are a total of 6 games in each pool over 5 weeks so all teams have a double header one week.

2008 U10 Pool Play

Balboa Park AYSO Region 33 – Coach Update, U10 Pool Play

Starting with week 8, October 25, U10 will begin pool play. Teams will be divided into 2 pools of 7 teams. They will be balanced based upon the win/loss record through week 7. The first 7 weeks’ game results will then have no further impact upon the pool play or play-offs. AR points are cumulative and discussed later in this document.

Each team will play 6 games over 5 weeks,(i.e. each team will have 1 double header). Most teams will play their second game against a fresh team; each of these teams will also play one game where they are the fresh team against an opponent playing their second game. A few teams will play their second game against another team playing their second game, and they will not then play fresh against an opponent playing their second game.

Upcoming Coaches Meeting 8/26

Hi

I want to remind you all that the Mandatory Coaches meeting will be held this coming Tiuesday, Aug 26 from 7-9pm at Lanai Road Elementary located at 4241 Lanai Road, Encino CA 91436.

I look forward to seeing you all there. Please let me know if you will not be able to attend this meeting.
