Congratulation and thank you for entering the 30th Annual AYSO Balboa Park Thanksgiving Jamboree Tournament taking place on Friday and Saturday, November 27-28, 2009.

To save you time on Friday morning we are offering any team to show up to our early check-in on Wednesday, November 25th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Balboa Park Recreational Center (on the corner of Burbank and Balboa Blvd.) Please make sure that you bring the following information so we can make this a quick easy process.
--Tournament Application Form (Signed)
--Tournament Roster Sheet (Signed)
--Proof of Coaching Certification and Safe Haven (If you can’t get this information off eAYSO please have a signed letter from your Regional Commissioner.
--Player Registration Forms (with original parent signatures)
If you have already sent some of your forms in you may want to still bring copies as a backup

We will give you the official games cards that will need to be filled out in NUMBER not NAME order.

We invite you to participate in the oldest AYSO Thanksgiving Soccer Jamboree. The 30th Annual AYSO Balboa Park Thanksgiving Jamboree will take place Friday and Saturday, November 27-28, 2009. Come and enjoy yourself while you work off your holiday meal!

All teams will play a guaranteed 3 games over the course of the two days. A maximum total of 96 teams will be participating. The tournament is open to Divisions U-10, U-12, U-14, U16 and U-19 Boys and Girls.

Register early to insure participation: We encourage you to register as soon as possible to ensure your region's team the possibility of participation in the most exciting Turkey Tournament in AYSO. This year we intend to surpass the impressive geographic distribution of past years. The tournament is open to all teams made of AYSO players who have registered and played in the 2009 primary program. Teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. All teams that have submitted an application will be notified 30 days prior to the tournament of their status. Any applications received after October 24, 2009 will be notified within 24 hours of their status

Fees: A team registration of $425.00 for Division U-14, U16 and U-19, $400.00 for Division U-12, $375.00 for Division U-10 reserves your spot. Player participants will receive a Tournament Pin. Coaches will receive a tournament participation gift. Referees will receive a tournament participation gift, including: Tournament Referee coin, Tournament T-shirt, and a daily meal ticket. First, Second, Third, and Fourth place teams in each division will receive medals. Medals will also be awarded to consolation round winners. Monies collected and/or raised from the tournament will be used for the development and expansion of the Region 33 AYSO Soccer program.

Referee Deposits: A refundable referee deposit of $200.00 must accompany each team applications to ensure that each team's referee obligations are fulfilled. Each team, U10 thru U19, is required to provide a certified Regional or above referee team to work three (3) games over the two days to have the fee refunded. All teams fulfilling the Referee commitment will receive a refund check within 14 days following the completion of the tournament, or not later than December 10, 2009.

Applications: All team applications must be accompanied with a regional check for $625.00 for Division U14, U16 and U19, $600.00 for Division U12, and $575.00 for Division U10 for team registration and referee deposit. Please make check payable to AYSO Region 33.

Refunds: Should the tournament be terminated prior to completion of the guaranteed 3 games a pro rata refund shall be given Based upon games completed.
