Dear AYSO Region 33 Family,
It is with great sadness that we communicate some devastating news to you all.
Nick Glover, a parent, referee, and coach in our AYSO Region 33 family has passed away due to complications from COVID-19. He succumbed to the illness on January 8, 2021. Nick is survived by his wife, Susan, his son, Andrew, and his daughter, Emma.
He had recently been diagnosed with COVID and had been isolating and resting at home. Unfortunately, sometime around mid-week his health quickly declined. He passed away at home.
Nick was born on May 31, 1967 in England. He moved with his family to the U.S. as a teenager. Nick was a longtime volunteer with our Region, who you could always find running up and down the field, refereeing, oftentimes with his son Andrew. Nick was a great person, dad, coach, and volunteer.
Please keep Nick’s family in your thoughts and prayers. They will need our support in the coming days, weeks, months, and years.
